The Secret to The Best Pool Parties in Vegas
How many of you have attended a pool party? Either for adults, kids and/or families?
Is it fun or is it stressful?
If you said stressful, why?
Is it because you are trying to make sure your child/ren are safe in the pool, but people keep talking to you and distracting you?
You know that drowning happens in seconds and every second you don’t notice your child drowning matters.
Did you know some parents actually have fun at pool parties? Do you know why?
The host/hostess HIRED LIFEGUARDS!!!
Every time I hear someone is having a pool party I tell them to hire a lifeguard…or two. It will be the best money they spend on the party. After they party they always tell me I was right. They can’t believe they never did that in the past and they will never have another pool party without a lifeguard again.
It takes ALL the PRESSURE off the host/hostess and ALL the guests from worrying about someone getting hurt or worse in the pool because no one was paying attention. No one can TRUELY enjoy the party because they are always distracted by trying to watch their kid/s in the pool.
I’ve heard some parents tell me that other parents have DROPPED THEIR KIDS OFF AND LEFT THEM at a pool party. So there was NO ONE watching some of the children playing in the pool. Other parents couldn’t enjoy themselves because they felt obligated to take on the lifeguard role in the absence of other parents. That’s not fair.
If you are hosting a pool party HIRE A LIFEGUARD. You will appreciate them so much.
If you are attending a pool party ASK THE HOST/HOSTESS if they have hired a lifeguard. If they say no, ask them who’s job it will be to watch the pool the entire party. Ask if that person is Lifeguard, CPR and 1st Aid Certified. Perhaps by the time you are finished asking all these questions the host/hostess will be hanging up to call a lifeguard service to hire someone for the party!
