The Benefits of Pool Covers

Whether your pool is heated or not, the “bubble” covers work great! I’ve been in pools with no heaters and only use a pool cover to heat and retain the pool’s heat and I could not believe how warm the pools were. In many cases they were warmer than pools with heaters! Kids don’t like to learn to swim in cold pools.

Please note that these pool covers only retain a percentage of the heat generated by the sun. The colder and windier the days and nights, the colder the pool will be. It does not replace a pool heater in the Spring, Fall and Winter months. It simply helps retain the water’s warm temperatures in the Summer months and slightly capture the sun’s rays to help raise the pool water temperature a bit depending on the size, depth of your pool and how much sun your pool gets during the day.

If you don’t like the way pool covers look on those bulky spindley things or thrown to the side of the pool you can get an underground vault to store it in.
